Occupational Therapy Assessments and Interventions
We provide holistic Occupational Therapy assessments, goal setting and interventions. We strive to maximise function and independence in all activities of daily living, ensuring meaningful participation in all of the clients roles.
Postural management
We are experts in the assessment and provision of 24 hour postural management including equipment, to ensure our clients are safe, comfortable and able to participate fully in life.
Education Health Care Plan (EHCP) Assessments & Intervention
We are experienced in assessing client needs in relation to their education. We have excellent working relationships with a large number of schools and providers, allowing us to advocate effectively for our clients. As well as supporting education on a day-to-day basis, pride ourselves on producing excellent tribunal ready reports to support the EHCP process.
Assistive Technology Assessments and Interventions
Bespoke assessment packages available to suit the client needs. This will include exploring the client strengths, developing access methods, making recommendations, providing training, and ongoing input as required.
Equipment
We are experts in assessing for and recommending aids and equipment to support individuals to perform daily activities with greater ease, safety and independence.
Bespoke training packages
We are able to provide bespoke training to parents, carers and teaching staff, exploring subjects such as postural management, executive functioning, powered mobility and sensory awareness.
Medicolegal Cases: treating therapists
Occupational Therapy and Assistive Technology assessments and interventions to support clients during their litigation period and beyond. We have extensive experience of working as part of the case managed team. We provide high quality reports to address the clients holistic needs.
Moving and Handling Assessments
We are experts in providing excellent care to even the most complex of clients. We complete detailed risk assessments and advice with ergonomic and safe recommendations to safeguard handlers, in the home, school, community or care settings. We can also give client specific training to parents, carers and other staff working with the client. Moving and handling interventions are carried out by OTs who are trainers, approved by the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health. We are members of the National Back Exchange.
