FAQs
Common Questions
Who do you work with?
The team is experienced in working with a wide range of client groups. This includes children and young people who have suffered catastrophic injuries including birth injury, traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injuries and amputations. We also have extensive experience working with those living with profound and multiple learning difficulties (PMLD) and neurodevelopmental disorders including autism and ADHD. We are experienced in providing safe and effective therapy to those with complex medical needs.
What happens before we meet you?
After your initial enquiry, we will contact you for further referral information. This will help us to plan our input. We may need to gather additional information from you before our initial assessment, which can be done via email or phone.
What can I expect from the initial session?
During the assessment session, our therapists will engage with the client, as well as their parents, carers or adults who know the client well. This ensures we understand specific requirements and establish goals to guide the therapeutic journey. If CKG OT has been instructed to generate a report this will follow the assessment.
